A fun, dynamic 90-minute handstand workshop — no experience needed. Whether it's your first kick-up or you're chasing a consistent 10–15 second hold, we'll get you entering, exiting and balancing with control.
The workshop runs at OverGravity Gymnastics — a proper gymnastics space in Shadwell, East London, with the mats, walls and height a handstand session actually needs.
Open to everyone from total beginners to those trying to hold their handstand for longer. In this fun, dynamic session we cover entering and exiting safely, working with and without a spotter, and even handstand walks.
No previous experience required. If you've never been upside down in your life, you're in the right place — we start from the ground up.
Already kicking up but want to break the 10–15 second mark reliably instead of catching it for a lucky second.
Gym, yoga, calisthenics, climbing or curious first-timer — we work with whatever you bring and build the rest.
You already hold a solid freestanding handstand and want advanced press or one-arm work — that's our 1-1 coaching, not this class.
How to create the balance rather than just catch it — the shift that turns a lucky second into a real hold.
A clear picture of exactly what to work on to keep improving your handstand over the coming weeks.
A members-only written guide and follow-along workout from the workshop, to keep training at home.
Enter and exit safely, so you feel confident working handstands in other OverGravity classes too.
Nearly a decade of personal handstand practice, blending yoga, calisthenics and movement coaching. Elliott coaches the Wednesday handstand class at OverGravity and private 1-1 clients — beginner through to advanced one-arm foundations — building functional strength, stable foundations and real control through structured guidance.
If you can get into a kick-up against a wall, yes. If you're starting from complete zero, you'll still get plenty out of it, but message me first so I know to expect you.
You don't need to be either. We work with what you've got and show you how to build the rest. Handstands are a skill, not a party trick for the already-bendy.
